Education Maintenance Allowance

Dear Year 11 pupil, you are able to apply for the EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance) to support your study in full-time education after 16. This is a means tested award which will help you to study from 16 to 18 years of age. Unfortunately the forms have not arrived in school yet. There is a form available online for you to print and then to send into the EMA office.

Option 1: Apply by printing the form and posting the form from home. Option 2: When the forms arrive in school parents will be told through the school website. The pupil can ring to arrange to collect the form from school. The pupil will then post the form from home.
